if you need expert-level Java, Perl, or Palm programming.
A Palm version of Sun Clock is available as shareware from the usual shareware sites.
You can get it right here as either a .ZIP file (for PC users)
or a .SIT file (for Mac users).
It costs $5.00 if you decide to keep it. Instructions for payment are included in the Palm application.

Application versions of Sun Clock for Macintosh and Windows are available from
MLT Software, P.O. Box 19787, Portland, OR 97280.
Send a check for $25, and be sure to specify whether you want the Mac or Windows version.
Both the Mac and Windows applications create a display like the Java applet version shown at the top of this page,
and use the same colored map image of the Earth as viewed from space.
For an absolutely beautiful real time moon phase display, see what the
U.S. Naval Observatory
has done.
A big thank-you to Patrick Meyer of NASA for the idea for a workaround
allowing this applet to work properly on Macs. Formerly, I had
no way to get an accurate time zone when running on a Macintosh.
